"Beautifull Beirut..."


Beirut is back… And it's beautiful. So says Carole Cadwalladr from The Observer...

As a child growing up, I had heard of Beirut. What appeared to be an endless supply of various wars and military actions seemed to permanently be the only news we heard of from The Lebanon. It was shown as a sad place. A place of suffering. A place no-one would ever want to go...

But things have changed, a lot....

Although there are still signs of their struggles, Beirut has (according to the article) come the full circle of its incredible journey, and looks set to become seen as one of the most amazing tourist destinations in the world, which has been backed up by The New York Times nominating it as it's number one destination in the world...
