"Surf's up dude...."


£3 million well spent...

Well that's the view of Bournemouth borough council who have predicted that Europe's first artificial surf reef has aided in a big way towards the proposed tourism income targets in the area...

"Mark Smith, the council's director of tourism, said: "It's not just about the reef, though – the entire £11m Boscombe Village Spa regeneration project has seen a fantastic transformation of the area, which has seen the resort shrugging off its 'blue rinse' image to become a modern 21st-century beach resort....."
