As always I enjoy having a browse around the latest news and today I found an interesting article in the Travel Daily News about the World Travel Market that I would like to share with you all. Taking place next week in London, the World Travel Market is also celebrating their 30th event and due to the occasion they have collected predictions from global tourism executives within the travel industry about what trends will appear over next 30 years.
Referring to the article that is attached below, we should be looking forward to more tailor-made experiences and niche market expansions which should develop a wider interest in people and their travels. One of my favourites mentioned is 'Home Stay Tourism' where the traveller may stay with the locals within their chosen destination and be fully involved within an environment that is new to them. Other interesting developments mentioned that should take place within the next 30 years is portable hotels and underwater travel.
